FYI // Daylight Savings

Posted by Chelsea Moore on

Set your clocks forward ladies and gents, this Sunday, March 12, is the end of Daylight Savings time. And while we’ll definitely be feeling that hour of sleep loss for a few days, we can’t wait for the extra hour of daylight we will be getting at the end of the day– not going to lie, leaving work after sunset has been getting a little depressing.

Take this chance to finally emerge into the great outdoors after a long winter of locking yourself inside with a blanket a movie. An extra hour of sun at the end of the day means you have more time after work to enjoy the things you haven’t been able to do in months. Not sure where to start? We’ve got you.

Actually make it to the beach in time to catch the sunset.

Finally take that hike that you’ve been “planning on.” This one in Palos Verdes is among our faves.

Check out a local rooftop bar, like Mama Shelter in Hollywood, to catch the sunset from atop the urban jungle #views.

Go for a bike ride with your squad – our favorite route is along the Manhattan Beach strand. The Marvin Braude Bike Trail goes beachside from Palos Verdes all the way up to Malibu!

Hit Happy Hour at an indoor-outdoor restaurant like Areal for yummy drinks with your ladies.

Grab an afternoon iced coffee and explore your town. We’ll definitely be picking up an iced mint mojito coffee from Philz before walking around downtown Santa Monica.
