J U L Y  1 // Dirty Dancing + Fireworks // Santa Monica

The Hollywood Forever Cemetery Movie Nights Presents Dirty Dancing + Fireworks! Bring your blanket and a picnic dinner (+ summer drinks, obvi) and enjoy a movie under the stars! What more does one need on a perfect summer night? Tickets start at $12!  

J U L Y  2 //  626 Night Market // Santa Anita Park

Browse and shop at one of the biggest food festivals this July with hundreds of food, merchandise, arts and crafts, and not to mention ENTERTAINMENT! The entrance fee is only $3! 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Don’t forget to check out the #626squad for event day specials and discounts!

C E L E B R A T E  A M E R I C A ! ! !

J U L Y 6 // Harry Potter in Concert // Hollywood Bowl 

Here’s for all you Harry Potter fans! Starting @ 8 p.m., the film, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, will play in high definition while John Williams performs live music! Don’t miss out!

J U L Y  9 // Renegade Craft Fair // Los Angeles Historic State Park  

Enjoy a summer celebration of local and national makers and artisan talent! The fair will also include local food trucks, DJ sets, photo booths, and more! Be ready to shop! 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

J U L Y  1 1 // J Cole Concert // The Forum 

Watch J Cole perform his “4 your Eyez Only” tour! Get hyped! You know it will be #lit!  

J U L Y  1 2  // LA Times Ideas Exchange With Bill Nye // Theater at the Ace Hotel

Come out and listen to Bill Nye’s scientific mindset approach to thinking, creativity, and problem-solving and, more importantly, to discuss his new book, "Everything All at Once: How to Unleash Your Inner Nerd, Tap into Radical Curiosity and Solve Any Problem." Doors open @ 6:15 p.m. and starts @ 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost between $25 and $100.  

J U L Y  1 4 - 1 6  // Lobster Festival // Port of Los Angeles

You can’t miss the world’s largest lobster festival this July! Feast on the world’s famous Maine lobster rolls, lobster mac & cheese, and lobster quesadillas. Shopping and free entertainment will be going all day as you chow down on anything and everything lobster!

J U L Y  1 5 // The Sandlot // Griffith Park

The Eat|See|Hear series presents the Sandlot. Doors @ 5:30 p.m.. Music @ 7 p.m.. Movie @ 8:30 p.m. Bring pillows and blankets and enjoy the movie! THERE IS FREE PARKING! “You’re killin’ me, Smalls!”

J U L Y  1 5 - 1 6  // Lotus Festival // Echo Park Lake

The festival begins @ 12 p.m.!  Admission and entertainment are F R E E!! Bring $ if you plan to enjoy the food and merchandise! Expect to see the lotus flower beds in full bloom!

J U L Y  1  8 // Taste of the Farmer’s Market // Los Angeles

Enjoy a full evening (pun intended) of yummy tastes from over 50 of the Market's top-rated restaurants and eateries. 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $35 with advance purchase or $40 at the door.

J U L Y  2 1 - 2 3 //  FYF Fest // Exposition Park

Headliners are Missy Elliot, Bjork, Frank Ocean, and Nine Inch Nails! Check out the full lineup here! Gates open @ 5 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday!
