Meet Ashley, the Seattle born and bred native! A recently turned Angeleno, this lovely lady packed up and moved to sunny SoCal about 6 months ago with her boyfriend and 2 cats. Since her arrival, she’s developed a newfound love for beaches, sunshine, and all things BOXFOX. Read along to learn more about this fun, friendly, fashionista (and the newest member of our Corporate Fulfillment team), and why we couldn’t be happier she joined our family of foxes!
How did you find BOXFOX, tell us your story.
After moving to LA, I reconnected with an old friend who mentioned BOXFOX and encouraged me to apply after she’d gushed about how it would be the perfect fit for me. Soon after I’d applied, the founders called me in for an interview, and well, the rest is history!
Describe your role and what you do day to day //
I work on the Corporate Fulfillment team in Corporate Production. My role in Corporate production consists of packing and shipping boxes, writing notes, keeping our Corporate Concierge up to date and afloat, and tackling any other tasks that are thrown my way. I wear a ton of different hats so each day for me varies, which is something I really appreciate about my job!
Where can we find you when you're not at the warehouse?
If I'm not at home spending time with my two cats and adorable boyfriend, I'm either checking out new and trendy cafes, tanning at the beach, or hiking. On Sundays you will always find me at the Farmer's market buying way too many flowers for my own good after drinking one too many coffees.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself!
I trained and showed horses for 7 years, making it to the World Championships! (I promise you I cannot make this stuff up).
Any favorite podcasts, books, or TV shows right now?
I recently finished the Dirty John podcast which had me hooked (I listened to the entire thing in one day). I loved the book How to Live a Good Life By Jonathan Fields but am in search of a new book to read so please send suggestions! As far as TV shows, hands down my all time FAV is This Is Us, I cry every. single. time.
