Our CMO Jenni's Perfect and Healthy Morning Routine

While we like to think that all of us have it together here at BOXFOX...CMO Jenni is actually on top her game with a killer morning routine and healthy habits that we all strive for. We asked her a little bit more about it to inspire ourselves and hopefully you guys to follow in her footsteps.

How many times do you hit the snooze button in the morning

I am actually woken up each morning a little bit before my alarm by my dog, Eleanor. She is still a puppy so when she wakes up she is a ball of energy and jumps into bed with me...it is so cute! Yet our CEO (and my roommate), Chelsea, doesn’t think it's as cute when Eleanor does the same.

First thing you do when you wake up?

I drink hot water with apple cider vinegar and lemon to start off my day, which has so many health benefits. After drinking my tea and catching up on some morning news, I will take Eleanor for a walk down to the beach. I love starting my morning with a walk because it gives me time to mentally prepare for the day, center myself, and get my body moving.

Favorite breakfast?

I am really into smoothies right now. They are so easy and I am able to add in all of my favorite superfoods like chia seeds, goji berries, and of course, my favorite Moon Juice powders, to get the most out of my morning smoothies. (See Jenni's favorite smoothie recipe below)

Morning Essentials

I start with brushing my teeth with an Izola bamboo toothbrush. I am on an anti-plastic kick right now, so this toothbrush is perfect.

In terms of hair care, I have a couple of must have product. I have a ton of hair and it takes me over half an hour to blow dry, even if I wash it the night before. The Drybar Hold me Hair Clips are crucial for me to blow dry my hair in a reasonable amount of time. I also use Drybar’s Chaser Shine Cream to keep it shiny and frizz free after I am finally done.

How do you set yourself up for a good day?

My morning walks help me enter the day calm and collected. While I am getting ready, I will usually light a candle for some aromatherapy and listen to some Jack Johnson.

1 frozen banana

1 cup of blueberries

3-4 strawberries



1-2 cups of milk (usually coconut!)

Moon Juice Ashwagandha Powder

Moon Juice Maca Powder

Chia Seeds

Goji Berries 

Bee Pollen
