Plan your outfit ahead of time
I’m the anti-procrastination queen. It’s incredibly important to plan your outfit ahead of time so you know you’ll look professional for your next meeting and have time to prepare your content.
Layer Accessories
While it’s important to look professional, adding a few small accessories to any outfit can add a pop to your business attire and incorporate some personality; you’d be surprised that more often than not, this small detail actually be a great conversation starter!
Have a signature scent
There’s nothing better than walking into a meeting feeling, looking, and smelling fresh and clean. Buy a perfume and stick to it, don’t switch it up too much and make sure it’s nothing too potent.
Invest in a steamer
No one likes crinkled clothing! Do yourself a favor and get a steamer, it’s much easier to use than an iron, and it’ll leave you feeling much more confident.
Develop some go-to outfits (and take photos of them for reference)
This is something I love to do, especially when I’m slammed from work the night before, and the last thing on my mind is worrying about an outfit for my next meeting. I leave my outfits in a folder on my desktop and will refer to them when I need a little inspiration so I’m never unprepared!
