What International Women’s Day Means to Us

Posted by BOXFOX TEAM on

Here at BOXFOX, we make a conscious effort to celebrate female empowerment every single day. As a company founded by three business savvy women (and was an entirely all-female company for quite some time), International Women’s Day holds a special place in our hearts.

For us, today means a few things //

Collaboration + Support //

Collaboration and support can influence SO much change! When women work together, the opportunities are endless. At BOXFOX, we collaborate and support each other every day to not only empower ourselves, but to empower others!

Appreciation //

Women are doing incredible things in the business world. Take a look at boss babes like Emily Weiss, Jen Atkin, or Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores (to name a few). We ourselves have come so far as a women-owned company, which we couldn’t be more appreciative for! International Women’s Day is all about not only appreciating and celebrating your achievements and success, but the success of all the empowered women around you as well!

Equality //

“Educate A Girl, Change The World”

This year, we’re giving a special shout out to The Girl Project in honor of International Women’s Day. The Girl Project is a philanthropic initiative of Glamour. 50 million girls around the world are currently not in secondary school. The goal of The Girl Project is to empower girls and give them the access they need to quality secondary education. They believe that with equal access to education, girls have the ability to change the world. (We agree!)
