It’s no secret that wrapping up the year comes with a lot of celebrations (hello holiday parties!) and reflecting on all the incredible achievements of the year. And while thanking people outside of our organizations—clients, vendors, partners, and advisors—is key, it’s important not to overlook the people to your left and right who make it all possible: your team!
They’re the ones who have put in the hard work, day in and day out and make your life easy. So it’s important to thank them in a genuine way. As always, we’re on the job! See our top 4 tips for gifting your team below.
1. Set a Budget
Setting aside an all-in and per-gift budget is an important place to start for any gifting suite, but is especially important when you are creating a way to thank employees in a highly personal way. If you have a total gifting budget for a year, we’d say allocating $100/employee is a good place to start, depending on the size and scale of your company.
2. Set a Goal
Another question we always ask clients to think about: what is your goal for this gifting suite? Are you looking to celebrate and commemorate a job well done, encourage your team to get some rest and relaxation, or give them a desk refresh to start next year off on the right foot? Each of these goals will send a different message to employees and lead you in a different direction for the types of gifts you’ll want to send.
3. Keep Things Personal
