When you are scrolling through instagram, it is so easy to believe, that each picture perfectly captures that moment in time. From each mason jar of iced coffee down to every last un-chipped fingernail on the hand that makes every picture look just candid enough, it is easy to get caught up in the perfection of it all. But, then we remind ourselves how long it takes us to get the shot...and we are quickly snapped back into reality and reminded of the 10,000 photos on our camera roll of the same picture from 20 different angles.
Lucky for us, we have lexi, our kickass photographer who always seems to take the picture we have been trying to get for two days in a single shot. Photoshoot days are the best days. While you could say that BOXFOX HQ is high energy on a normal day, photoshoot days are on another level, with plenty of props (hello Becker’s giant oatmeal sugar cookies), Rihanna circa 2005 all the way to 2017 at full volume (come Mr. DJ), and goofing off just enough that we get the best and most fun candid shots (or the most heinous pictures of ourselves that we end up using as blackmail against each other).
