So Hot Right Now // Old Fashioned Things We Can't Let Go

Posted by Chelsea Moore on

Spring starts this Monday, and a change in season means out with the old and in with the new – new trends, new styles, new reasons to swing by our favorite store after work (...just to check on some things). And while we are all about that new, new, there are certain old-fashioned aspects of our day-to-day that we just can’t bear to part with.

In a world that’s always moving forward, it can seem like we too often focus on what’s next, missing valuable moments to connect with the people around us. Call us old fashioned, but we actually seek out these connections in whatever ways we can. We favor a pot of homemade coffee and meaningful morning conversation over a quick trip through the Starbucks drive-thru; we send our friends and families personalized gifts to remind them that they are loved (yes, we log their info in our address books, and yes address books are still a thing); and we love being friends with our mailman – hi Ray!

Special connections like these are exactly what BOXFOX facilitates – we create gifts so you can create memories *aw*. Everything that goes into a box, from the handwritten card (an old fashioned touch that we definitely can’t let go) to our beautiful and utilitarian products, is truly the physical manifestation of a unique and special connection. Some of our old-fashioned go-to’s that facilitate these moments are HAY Mini Market’s gold coffee scoop, this beautiful address book by Rifle Paper Co, and this Kikkerland hourglass.
