Our lovely Rachel is the head of fulfillment here at BOXFOX, and bless her soul because she is in charge of everything from customer service, to overseeing shipments, to ensuring orders are quickly processed. Rachel joined our team in the middle of 2016 when things at BOXFOX HQ got way too hot to handle (with just 2 people). Rachel is hilarious and each day she makes the world (and warehouse) a better place with her can-do attitude. You can always find her shamelessly sipping down Diet Coke, snacking on her favorite Cheese Itz & playing resident DJ~ mixing it up with tunes from Chance the Rapper to Mama Mia. This week we are continuing the behind the scenes look here at our warehouse & getting to know a bit more about our fabulous fulfillment Fox.
What do you love most about customer service and how do you ensure customers have a great BOXFOX experience?
RACHEL // To be honest, working closely with each and every customer is truly a rewarding experience. I’m so proud to work for a company that puts service above all else and ensures to make someone’s day or week better. Special moments like receiving positive feedback from a BOXFOX sender or their lovely recipient makes everything I do here just that much more personal.
How do you handle an unexpected large number of orders? Are there certain holidays that heighten website traffic?
RACHEL // BOXFOX has a pretty spectacular fulfillment system in place that not only maintains authenticity, but is easily scalable. We try to prepare as best we can, especially for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and the holidays. This past Christmas was insane, between regular orders and corporate orders, we were working around the clock. Fortunately our powerhouse team came together to make sure all orders were packed on time & shipped off to their new homes!
BOXFOX is a very detail oriented company, what is a specific detail or accent that you love about our boxes?
RACHEL // The details are so key to the customization of each BOXFOX. I have to say, my favorite detail we’ve built are the personalized curation cards. It is a short, sweet and simple way to let your recipient know how much you mean to them (bonus- they are super cute!)
What components make up your ideal work environment?
RACHEL // Here at BOXFOX HQ, I am always surrounded by positivity, constant laughter & endless girlscout cookies. There is never a dull moment with our team, that’s why I love coming to work each day. My weeks here absolutely fly by, our work life balance ranges from corporate meetings to trendspotting upcoming styles, I’m very lucky!
It is no surprise that spring break is coming up, luckily BOXFOX has you covered. What are three products from our collection that would ensure you to have the best spring break since your college Cabo years?
RACHEL// First off, to ensure my trip is off to a great start, my flight better be a good one! Of course I would be packing our Carry on Cocktail Kit for an enjoyable ride. To go along with my Cocktail Kit, I would choose our slate sleeping mask. Since my college days are in the past, I like logging in extra hours of beauty-rest..nothing screams don’t bother me like a black mask. Another product I simply can not live without is our Drybar Mai Tai Spritzer, it’s perfect for creating those beachy waves without the salty ocean.
