Curation Inspo // Our School Uniform

Curation Inspo // Our School Uniform

Posted by BOXFOX TEAM on

Has anything ever been quite as nerve-racking as planning what to wear for the first day of school? Trying to make that crucial first impression after summer was an annual tradition every girl went through. The new school year is in full swing, and we have begun to reminisce about our own school wardrobe experiences.

The first day of school felt so much more important than the rest of the year, but as the school year went on we all agree here at BOXFOX that we settled on a more distinct clothing style and routine. We know how important that first day back after summer was but we also want to celebrate the other days too, and have decided to curate boxes as an ode to our former school uniform. Whether personal or school regulated, it’s our uniforms that got us through the days we rolled out of bed when our alarms felt like torture, the days where we had to rummage through the laundry hamper, or just the days when we just felt like our closets contained absolutely nothing to wear.

It’s always a good-time to give a gift, and just like your elementary school best friend we’ve always got your back. We’ve asked our team about their own experiences and curated boxes inspired by our personal school styles, perfect for friends and family whose wardrobe you’d like to celebrate as well.

GIFTING PICKS // OUR UNIFORMS :

Jeans + White T Shirt - Sabena

Classics are classics for a reason, and Sabena’s go to look of jeans and a white t-shirt never failed her. From James Dean, to the streets of Paris, to Sabena’s closet, this outfit has been a tried and true staple. There is even a pair of the "perfect summer jean" by Madewell every fox at BOXFOX owns!

It’s the Colors You Wear - Grace

Ahhh free dress, the break from the monotony of plaid skirts, ill-fitted polos, and pressed khakis. Grace’s style explores clothing options beyond school regulations through pops of color, fun patterns, and bright accessories.

Au Natural - Maddy

There is something to be said for the girl who shows up everyday with minimal to no makeup and still looks amazing. Maddy’s afternoons were filled with sports practices and games making it a necessity to be able to transition from the classroom to the court without fuss. Being an student athlete Maddy’s style is toned down, natural, and powerful.

An Unrequited Fall Love - Chelsea

Growing up in LA Chelsea always longed for fall clothing. In the beginning of the year her wardrobe consistently integrated camel coats, plaid, and cozy sweaters. Chelsea’s style longed for colder weather and the colors of autumn leaves, until the heat of Southern California got in the way that is.
