Bali Travel Guide // BOXFOX

We were ecstatic to welcome our lovely Grace back to the fox den this week. We've all had Bali on the brain ever since perfecting these Bali Wedding Welcome gift boxes last year, but Grace was the only one to put her money where her daydreams were. After traveling the world, posting incredible sunset Instagrams and monkey filled Snapchats for two and a half weeks, we must admit this lucky jet setter left us planning our future *unrealistic* trip. From booking a ticket to hopping on a plane, Grace had no problem saying (selmat tingall) to America. The flight quickly passed by as Grace made sure to bring some of her favorite in flight products, Elizabeth W // Slate Gray Sleep Mask accessorized with HAY // earplugs.

Once arriving in the land down under, Grace of course kicked jet lag to the back seat as she was reuniting with one of her best childhood friends. The two instantly knew they were in store for the best trip *ever* since circa 2010 when Carrie Bradshaw and her girl squad took on Abu Dhabi. After soaking up the summer sunshine in Australia for a few days, the adventure filled vacation began when Grace and Danielle touched down in BALI. Yes you can already hear the majestic waves crashing down on the dreamy white sand…

Of course we pried into every detail of their girls getaway, from the best beaches, local hangout spots to bougie drinks, Grace was thrilled to share her island excursions with us!

UBUD As the cultural center of Bali, Ubud is very unique and different from other beachy towns. Made up of fourteen villages, this area has an abundance of local artists and various galleries to stroll through (while you’re not sipping on a drink or relaxing by a beautiful terrace.)

Karsa Spa offers unreal massages for only $14 US dollars! Enjoy a traditional hour-long Indonesian massage in your very own hut located near the tranquil rice terrace.

Tegalalang Rice Terrace should already be at the top of your Bali activity list! This destination is not only the place to channel your inner Julia Roberts from Eat, Pray, Love, but also a great cultural experience. During your visit here, you will learn each step that goes into rice production.

Monkey Forest, you have probably seen pictures of this incredible sanctuary, but you need to be there to experience the craziness of it. Monkey. Madness. Everywhere. What’s not to love? Visit this Bali hot spot to let cute (but crazy) monkeys climb all over your limbs.

Four Seasons, what’s a girls trip without cute sunset drinks? You must visit the Four Seasons at Jimbaran Bay to elevate your Bali vacation. Indulge in a passion fruit martini as you watch the sun set over the horizon. (Get the pot stickers; you’ll thank us later.)

Sri Rati Cottages, Unfortunately, although we wish we could permanently stay at the Four Seasons, not all dreams come true. In Ubud the next best place to stay is Sri Rati Cottages, for $50 a night you will feel lavish without breaking the bank.

NUSA DUA is bred for the ultimate relaxing vacation, similar to those dreamy yet seemingly unrealistic advertisements you see in the airport. While Ubud may be the cultural hub, this location is certainly the tourism destination. Filled with upscale resorts, shopping and sandy beaches, you’ll certainly forget what a work week even is.

Marriott Bali Nusa Dua Resort, offers a private beach and an exceptional lagoon pool that might even make you question going home. This resort boats of elegance and ultimate tranquility as it is located walking distance from the beach and has incredible amenities.

Uluwatu Temple will absolutely be a favorite attraction on your unforgettable Bali trip. As one of Bali’s six temples, the Uluwatu will take your breath away with its beguiling cliff side beauty.

Single Fin is the spot to go to if you’re willing to ditch your acai love and replace it with a Nalu Bowl! With practically a 5 star rating, I don’t see why we all aren’t already there. This restaurant is the perfect place to grab some appetizers and watch the sun set, or keep the party going through the night with a live band.

Potato Head Beach Club welcomes customers with a long menu of drinks, delicious tacos and a great ambiance. Whether you are with your family enjoying a nice vacation or out on the town with friends, Potato Head will fulfill its incredible reviews. Stay a while and enjoy watching another magical Indonesian sunset from the beachfront infinity bar. (Pro tip- order the fish tacos, we wouldn’t let you down.)
