Founder, Sally Burgess, has been a lifelong lover of tasty hot beverages ever since her first barista job back in the 90s. While attempting to reduce her daily caffeine intake, she started ordering chai from cafes, only to find them underwhelming and overly-sweet. Sally wondered why chai wasn’t made with the same tender loving care as coffee, so set out to make her own.
After several years perfecting the recipe, Soul Chai was born as a truly spicy, matcha-style chai powder that can be made to order, one cup at a time.
