Supergoop! is a female-founded sun safety power brand founded by Holly Thaggard. After a close friend was diagnosed with melanoma in her 30s, Holly sought out to provide sunscreen to all kids in public schools everywhere to implement a sun safety regimen from a young age. But because of the way the FDA regulated sunscreen, she had to resort to plan B, an accessible and thoughtfully produced brand available in stores everywhere. Now over 10 years later, many stellar products and tons of awards, Holly and her company have launched Ounce by Ounce, a program whose goal is to provide SPF in school classrooms across America.
